Scheherazade Tomato

The Scheherazade tomato, a unique creation by Vladimir Dederko and Galina Botyayeva in Russia in 2007, offers a distinctive addition to the tomato family. This semi-determinate, vining variety produces larger, plum-shaped tomatoes, ranging from 6 to 8 oz each. The red, furry fruits are characterized by an almost "sticky" skin, adding to their uniqueness. With an intense, sweet tomato flavor, Scheherazade stands out not only for its taste but also for its appearance.
