Carolina Reaper Pepper Seeds

Carolina Reaper Pepper is officially the second hottest chili pepper in the world, with an average Scoville Heat Unit (SHU) rating of over 1.6 million and reaching up to 2.2 million SHU. Developed by Ed Currie of the PuckerButt Pepper Company in South Carolina, it is a crossbreed between a Pakistani Naga pepper and a Red Habanero. The pepper features a distinctive wrinkled, bumpy surface and a bright red color when ripe. Despite its extreme heat, it also boasts fruity undertones, adding complexity to its flavor profile. Due to its intense spiciness, handling and consumption require caution, and it is often used sparingly as a seasoning or ingredient in hot sauces, salsas, and spicy dishes.
